Evolution Link will be available to unlock through the Skill Tree once you progress the main story and get the Multiplicauldron.

From it you can access Evolution Link where you can mix two items in specific order to create a new one.
These new items can be really helpful as they will have combined and more powerful affects which will make your battles more easier as one item will do two items job.
