ROADMAP
Learn the combat mechanics as it will let you finish your battles more quickly and blast your way to Chapter 2 but i highly recommend leveling up as you will be facing a boss after a boss without a save point in between near the end of Chapter 1.
Interact with any Relic Statue (Blue icons) you see as some can be for the Sacred Art (Magic) which you will unlock fairly early, also then use these Sacred Arts such as Tail Wind and Create Metal to get to hard to reach areas (Relic Statues and Chests).
Most of the trophies in the game are grindy so my best advice is to try to hit more than one bird with a single stone.
Some of the Grindy Trophies:
Weaponmaster: Attain a total of 5,000 Weapon Proficiency
Not-So-Secret-Arts: Unlock all Sword Skills in all 9 weapon categories.
Search and Destroy: Land a total of 500 hits on enemies with the charge gauge at max.
Neither a Test Player nor an NPC: Reach Affinity rank 2 with 100 people.
Weed Wacker: Defeat 100 clamps.
For example, weapon proficiency increase with the use of the certain weapon type and we have 9 different weapon types, this can be combined with Weed Wacker, Not-So-Secret-Arts and Search and Destroy trophies, where you can use a certain weapon and defeat a clamp with a precision skill and when you reach 500 proficiency you switch to another weapon.
we need 500 proficiency per weapon at least to be able to unlock all Sword Skills in that Weapon’s Skill Tree, though in total you need about 550 Proficiency per weapon to have a total of 5,000 proficiency in total (9 weapons).
When you unlock the Multiplayer and Wayfarer, i highly recommend using the Online Player Avatars in your party as usually they are more powerful and at the same time you will be increasing their Affinity Rank and also whenever you have time, spend a little bit of your time increasing the Affinity Ranks of the Main Characters, Wayfarers and Player Avatars.

Weaponmaster
Attain a total of 5,000 weapon proficiency
There are 9 Weapon Types in the Game.
– One Hand Sword (Eugeo, Alice, Ronie, Tiese, Leafa)
– Rapiers (Asuna, Fanatio, Sheyta)
– Daggers (Silica, Linel, Fizel)
– Maces (Lisbeth)
– Whips (Eldrie)
– Katanas (Medina, Bercouli)
– Two Handed Swords (Sortiliena)
– Bows (Sinon, Deusolbert)
– Dual Wielding (Kirito)
Proficiency of the weapons will increase with usage, though the progress of earning Proficiency Points will become slower and slower with usage as well.
There are Sword Skills that are tied to your Weapon Proficiency level so you need at least have 500 proficiency in each weapon type to unlock all their Sword Skills, so i recommend focusing on that first and you will get around 4,500 (500 from each weapon) and then later keep using your favorite weapons to get the remaining 500 points.
Check “Not-So-Secret Arts” trophy.
Hence i highly recommend to switch weapons when you hit 550 proficiency points, though remember when you choose a new weapon your base stats will be low as your Weapon Bond is low also, so dont switch weapons when you are about to face a Boss.
Also i noticed that when you reach around 600 points or so, the progress of earning points will be very slow but switching to another character that has the same weapon type and using them (controlling) will make it slightly faster yet Dual Wielding is only available to Kirito.
For example am using a Bow and i reach 600 Proficiency Points and it will become very slow to earn points now (you will earn 0.1 points…etc), so switch to Sinon or Duesolbert and you will notice you will earn more (0.3 or 0.5…etc).
Note: You will only earn points for the Weapon Type your controlled Character has, for example you are controlling Eugeo then you will earn One Hand Sword points only.
Skill Seeker
Obtain 400 skills
There are three ways to acquire Skill Points:
1 – Kirito Leveling Up (Level Cap is 50)
2 – Defeating enemies (The stronger the enemies the higher the chances).
3 – Completing trials at Warrior Statues.
The best methods to gain Skill Points near the end game is to increase the difficulty of the game, hunt Monolith and Divine or do the Dungeon Raids which i highly recommend.
Yes you can repeat the final boss fight and you will get a lot of Skill Points but doing the Dungeons (Raids) will not only help you gaine Skill Points but you will also get new items (4 star rewards) and you can sell what you dont want.
Of course this can be combined with some other trophies such as Eat the Rich and Weaponmaster.
We need to obtain everything in the Skill Tree Mene, you even need to acquire the Add-Ons for the Combat Skills (Press to open customization menu).
Pro Hero
Raise Kirito’s level to 50
50 is the Level Cap, you should finish the game around level 37 if you haven’t spent too much time exploring and fighting bosses (Hunts, Monolith…etc).
The fastest way to gain XP is by increasing the Difficulty of the Game (Hard or Death Game) and fighting the monsters normally, though a Health Regen Passive Skill or Bloody Waltz Combat Skill or an Armor with “Weapons of Darkness+” that has HP Absorption will make this way easier.
Also attempting this with other Player Avatar will certainly make it way easier.
NOTE: Bladerender Armor is a great Armor that can randomly have “Weapons of Darkness” attachment.
Not-So-Secret Arts
Unlock all Sword Skills in all 9 weapon categories
There are 9 Weapon categories:
– One Hand Sword (Eugeo, Alice, Ronie, Tiese, Leafa)
– Rapiers (Asuna, Fanatio, Sheyta)
– Daggers (Silica, Linel, Fizel)
– Maces (Lisbeth)
– Whips (Eldrie)
– Katanas (Medina, Bercouli)
– Two Handed Swords (Sortiliena)
– Bows (Sinon, Deusolbert)
– Dual Wielding (Kirito)
Each one has Sword Skills that require 500 Proficiency Points in their specific category to unlock them and acquire them using Skill Points.
So you don’t need to actually get MAX proficiency but rather 500 points in each.
Check “Weaponmaster” Trophy.
Search and Destroy
Land a total of 500 hits on enemies with the charge gauge at max
We need to land 500 hits using a Precision Aim Skill which is Sword Skill that is available in most of the Weapon Categories.
Assign this Sword Skills to your Weapon and use it in the battle against any monster and as many times.
For example if i assigned it to my then in battle i need to press and hold and press until the attack charges to Level 3 and release while still holding , now use the to aim and then release to attack the target.
My Love Knows No Bounds
Obtain 4 affinity with all heroines
Rank 4 Affinity is achieved at 61% (The heart at the top left corner).
The Ranks are as follow:
Acquaintance
Amicable
Friend
Close Friend
Rival
The percentage inside the heart is how close you are to max rank (Rank 5).
We need to get Rank 4 for all the Heroines in the game.
– Alice
– Selka
– Sortiliena
– Ronie
– Tiese
– Cardinal
– Bercouli
– Fanatio
– Linel
– Fizel
– Sheyta
– Medina
– Asuna
– Silica
– Leafa
– Lisbeth
– Sinon
Open the Party menu, the first person you choose to add to your party will be the partner and then go to a Heart to Heart mini game location (Orange Icon with hearts).
Play the mini-game and raise their Affinity to Rank 4, i recommend doing this for all the Main Characters and try to get the Bed Scenes as well for the “Recordkeeper” trophy.
Recordkeeper
Unlock 90% of the gallery
You can check this from the Main Menu, choose “Gallery”
It requires unlocking around 90% of the cut scenes available in the game, you will unlock more than almost 50% by just completing the game and the rest can be unlocked by completing the Character Side Stories as well as the Affinity Bed Scene “Share a Bed”, while some requires you to watch the Recollections inside Kirito’s Tent.
List of Character with Bed Scenes:
– Eugeo
– Alice
– Selka
– Sortiliena
– Ronie
– Tiese
– Cardinal
– Fanatio
– Fizel & Linel
– Sheyta
– Medina
– Asuna
– Silica
– Lisbeth
– Leafa
– Sinon
You can combine this with the getting Rank 4 Affinity for “My Love Knows No Bounds” trophy.
Neither a Test Player nor an NPC
Reach affinity rank 2 with 100 people
Check “My Love Knows No Bounds” trophy to learn more about how to raise Affinity Rank.
This is for the Player Avatars and Wayfarers, when you play online with real people or invite Wayfarers to your party when playing they will be added to your Friends List when they reach Affinity Rank 1.
I recommend inviting Wayfarers fighting a boss/Monolith Boss as its almost the fastest way to increase their Affinity to Rank 1.
When they are added to your Friends List then you can add them to your party.
The first one you add will be your partner, go to Heart to Heart mini-game spot and raise their Affinity to Rank 2 (21% inside the heart at the top left corner).
This trophy does not count the main characters but only the Player Avatars and Wayfarers, you can find them all around the maps fighting monsters (leaf like icon).
Just approach them and check their status to see if their Rank is 0, if yes then invite them until their Rank reaches 1.
I recommend doing this until you have 122 (including ReoNa) friends, then just one by one get their Affinity to Rank 2.

Eat the Rich
Obtain 1,000,000 shia
Obtaining Shia can be somewhat tough in this game but achieving 1,000,000 Shia near end game is certainly achievable with a little bit of grinding.
You can sell duplicate items from the Divine Bosses or from Raid Dungeons.
Or you can save your game and keep a back-up, then sell everything you have in hopes of getting 1,000,000 Shia.
There is this other way where you can grind for Wildroses which sell for 1,500 Shia each.
If you are still struggling then you can get help from a friend and duplicate items such as Wildroses online using a very old trick “Save Scumming” by sharing/giving items to a friend and loading your old save back.
As Old as Time Itself
Defeat 10 mythic-class enemies
You need to defeat 10 Divine Bosses, doesn’t matter if you beat the same 10 times.
Check “I Bite My Thumb at your “Limits”” trophy.
Playlist for all 10 Divine Bosses and the drops for each one of them.
Walking Encyclopedia
Clear the game with over 100 hours of playtime
If you go to the System Menu, you will see the Play Time at the top right corner.
Just make sure you are past that before finishing the game, or just simply re-fight the final boss when you get past the 100 hours as when you finish the game, it will put you back just before the final boss, so you can repeat it anytime you want.
Enhance Armament
Defeat an enemy with a Perfect Weapon Control Art
See “Enhance Armament Guru” trophy.
Sword Skill Guru
Defeat 100 enemies with a Secret Art
Different weapons will have different Secret Art.
You can see them and can assign them from the Skills Menu ( ).
In battle, press +Assigned Button to use a Secret Attack.
Lower the enemy health and finish them of with a Secret Art.
We need to do this with 100 enemies and this trophy should come naturally if you frequently use Secret Arts, especially so if you focus on Lower Level Enemies as they can be defeated with a single Secret Art.
Enhance Armament Guru
Defeat 30 enemies with a Perfect Weapon Control Art
Perfect Weapon Control Art depends on the weapons you are
wielding, if you give Night-Sky Blade to Kirito then he will have
Enhance Armament as well.
The Enhance Armament Art can be accessed by pressing mid battle and then pressing to perform the Finish Art “Enhance Armament”.
We need to fill the Arts Gauge to be able to perform the Finish Arts. It fills over time during combat, but can be filled faster by Deflecting, and Step-Dodging attacks during the combat. So keep attacking and blocking until it fills (You will see a message notifying you if its filled).
Once its filled, make sure you perform it on an enemy with low health to ensure that its defeated with the Finish Art.
Release Recollection Guru
Defeat 30 enemies with a Memory Release
Perfect Weapon Control Art depends on the weapons you are
wielding, if you give Osmanthus Sword to Alice then she will have Release Recollection as well.
The Release Recollection Art can be accessed by pressing mid battle and then pressing to perform the Finish Art “Release Recollection”.
Weed Whacker
Defeat 100 Clamps
You will get introduced to Clamps after Chapter 1, these are the small pink trees “Pink color icon”.
You need to defeat all clamps in a certain area before you can defeat the Clamp Cluster “Bull icon”.
You will be defeating a lot of Clamps and Clamp Clusters during story missions anyway but if you are still missing some then defeat them when you see one as they respawn constantly.
Also the Clamp Clusters drop Equipment Attachments “incarnation” and possible give you Skill Points due to their high level.
So combine these when grinding for Monolith/Divine Boss as you will be walking around the map defeating bosses so defeat the Clamps as well.
Note: You can raise your proficiency if you directly go to a Clamp Cluster and attack it as you will not be able to defeat it unless all Clamps in the area are defeated, so keep attacking it while doing some else like watching a movie or something until your weapon proficiency reaches to 500+.
